Current Status of the Longwell and Miles Memorial Estate

Sadly, the Brigadier General's Last Will and Testament has not been followed.
In April 2022 many of his furnishings, personal effects, books and antiques were sold on an online auction per the trustees of the Longwell and Miles Memorial Estate.
His home over the years was left neglected and unsecured so raccoons and other animals were able to make it their new home.
The Trustees of the Longwell and Miles Memorial Estate are currently considering the deeding of the estate to the Licking Park District. Many of Perry's family members and Johnstown residents have attempted to stop this from taking place.
